I want to buy a 1997 Suzuki rm250 two stroke. It is in pretty good shape but do these bikes have any problems? I have heard suzukis can be notorious for fouling plugs and being hard to start. Is this a concern? Anything I should know about this bike?
Currently I have a 1989 Honda CR125 two stroke and that thing is a breeze to start. I also have a 1984 CR500 that I can kick it all day long and it pretty much decides when it wants to start, and that's not often. The last person who owned my 500 fractured his foot while trying to kick it. He sold it to me while he was on crutches and I was stupid enough to buy it. So basically I just want something reliable and easy to start, and power doesn't hurt.
