In theory the turbo since it runs off of exhaust pressure, whereas the supercharger is directly powered by the engine. Lots of people thought turbos would cut mpg, but that hasn't been the case (perhaps by design, IDK).
For a muscle car, I would go with the more traditional supercharger (less lag).
