It is a part of sport, but in some dark shady corner.... if you were to investigate 100% every professional team sprt in the world, every club, i bet my yearly salary that one person out of the whole team is breaking the rules on performance enhancing drugs.
Its not accepted practice but clubs, coaches and board of directors do turn a blind eye to it if that player is making headlines for the sport.
Some are aware, some choose not to speak up for fear of repurcusions, its not as easy as blowing the whistle, it has repurcutions.

yes i can imagine they do, the side effects of such chemical dabbing is not exactly positive on the general health of an athlete.
While not happy 100%, they still have that title, record or belt they have always wanted. 'it was worth it in the end' type of mentality
If they fail and end up with no success...
it does indeed take hard work. training and sacrifice... people on juice dont take their foot off the pedal either, but the natural athlete has a tougher time.
