Since Christ was a Jew and practiced Jewish law and was the messiah of the hebrew bible, wouldnt it mean all of his followers(us) to be jews, but new Jews. I mean we still follow the Torah, better known as the old testament today. This means that the teachings are the same, but Jesus just came to be the Messiah, heal the wounds of man kind, and restore order to the people of God. Sort of like how God destoryed the world during the time of Noah and then recreated it, but Noah was still a Jew. Also , wouldnt this, by our belief, make us the correct Jewish. Meaning me are what Jews, in the eyes of God, should operate like? (I LOVE LEARNING MY FAITH : D )
But Jesus followed Jewish law. The old testament is part of the Torah. Im saying that Christians(by our belief) are the new, correctly reformed Jews.
@Don Taylor Uhmmm, doesnt that prove my point? There is NO WHERE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT(Christs teachings to Jews. His reformation and salvation, resurrection) does it say that he doesnt want us to follow the books of old testament.

where in the bible does it say eat Kosher , and during the time Jesus was here, HE WAS NOT WORSHIPPED!!

I believe that Christianity is what old true Judaism led to, so it is actually the True Israel.
current Judaism is old judaism, stuck in its old ways and dead, and not following God but prioritizing tradition and religion

Jesus' teachings, and authentic Christianity, is as far from ancient Judaism as the east is from the west.

if you follow the torah you're not a christian
christians don't follow the torah
the whole point is that it's a separate religion from judaism
with its own teachings, beliefs, symbols, objects of worship

edit: actually jesus didn't follow jewish law completely, he modified some things, like he worked on the sabbath, did away with food laws, and taught with his own authority
