If you dont know what conlanging is, dont even bother to answer.

I just read an artical that criticizes esperanto, but the points he makes, apply to all conlangs essentially:

http://riviste.unimi.it/index.php/inkoj/article/view/838

simply put, esperanto is not a real language since it has no native speaker, there is no correct grammar (beyond what each individual perceives to be right, which can be quite diverse), and there is of course no native speakers, it didnt evolve naturally thus everyone learns it as a second language, or learns it from someone else who learned it as a second language. there is no way to speak esperanto 'perfectly'. just read the artical if you want to know what it says.

basically, it explains why esperanto and other conlangs can never become living languages, infact when you really examine them (using methods normally applied to natural languages), you cant get any results, nothing about it functions like a natural language.

simply put, all conlangs are not true languages, and they never can be. thus, conlanging is just a stupid joke.

i've been studying linguistics for years now, and have been involved in the conlanging community for years, now, i feel like my hobby is just a joke, you cant truly create a language, no more than you can piece together a living animal cell-by-cell. at best you just get a cheap imitation of the real thing. you can't build an animal like a machine, bc animals by their very definition are not machines, thus you cant use a mechanical process to make an animal. or how about a better example? you cant perfectly replicate sounds on electronic devices, bc they produce the sounds though logical mechanics with precise measurements, but sounds in the real world are not made in such a way, thus why sounds that come out of computers are always slightly off, they can never sound like the real thing, it's just impossible bc they're not producing sounds the way that they're produced in the natural world. nor can you use logic to create something like a lnaguage that has evolved over the course of thousands of years, with input coming from countless individuals over the eons. conlanging, is just a joke. you cant make a language, so why bother trying to do something that simply can't be done?
