If you're getting your facts from Dave Chappelle or other comedians, then you're scr*w*d either way.

No. It remains a cheap attempt at humour that depicts all blacks as stereotypes.

Has Obama ever spoken in favour of "reparations" for the slave trade? I never heard about it, and I think that if he had the Fox propagandists would have let us know.

Let us assume, however, that such monies were passed out. Would you have to prove your ancestors had been taken as slaves by a white? Virtually every one of the black slaves was originally enslaved by another black man. Timbucktu was the center of the international slave industry long before the first ship sailed for the Atlantic seaboard.

Most black people find the idea of reparations foolish and offensive. Don't judge them by the fatuous example of Al Sharpton.

If you are going to criticize the stimulus package (which I think amounts to rewarding bad managers for their stupid behaviour in many aspects) you should mention if you buy the Republican counter that even more tax cuts would generate revenue.

Since that argument is at least as stupid as reparations (after all, no business is suggesting that they can balance their books by not collecting their bills) it would help put your gullibility into perspective.

No serious person believes reparations are needed or just, nor do they believe that more tax cuts and less regulation will encourage the corporate criminals to behave. We do, however, think that something had to be done about the results of the rape of the national economy by the Republican party and its principal ownership.

Given their moral bankruptcy we can only hope that Obama's plan works, because there is no where else to turn. That is the greatest shame the GOP must answer for.

When the Christian fascists reach the afterlife we can only hope they find that their God is very annoyed with their lies about His will.
 
Only a black guy could get away with making a comment about them spending the stimulus on liquor.
 
That is basically what just happened, except that government is so wasteful that this stimulus will hurt blacks too.

Seriously, cash payments would have been a better idea. Better yet would be cash payments in the form of lower taxes, but lets be serious, Reagan isnt president.
