is dick's sporting goods a good place to buy skateboards?

I am looking for good quality skateboards. Not crap-0 walmart ones. Are the ones that are around $60 good?

If you are looking for a set which includes trucks wheels bearings no you will need a little more but for a board dicks has acouple brand name boards there like blind zero element I would sugest going to a skate shop and stay with that skate for the rest of the time you skate it will help out to get to know the people there but make sure its not vans or zoomies find a mom and pop skate shop/small skate shop
