A decade-long medical study involving over 1,800 patients has shown some interesting results:

1. Prayers offered by strangers had no effect on the recovery of people who were undergoing heart surgery.

2. Patients who knew they were being prayed for had a higher rate of post-operative complications like abnormal heart rhythms (most likely a reverse-placebo effect)

How do the religious explain these results?

Do you Always believe what you read? especially liberal press NY times. try doing your own survey or talk to God about it.

Either that or a moral experiment! Humans have played the sick joke on themselves! Animals are better off because they don't do this to themselves.

'god' is a sick joke on humanity. And those who pray might as well be talking on a phone that has been unplugged (cell phone - battery missing).

No, Catholicism is. God doesn't exist, it's the whole concept of God that the catholic church uses to control people.
