They get their own TV show - supposedly to show the hard side and reality of raising a child - but instead it's giving them a bit of fame, social status with their friends, money for the episodes...........it makes me so sad.
Of all the things MTV could be making shows about, they go with shows about girls who got pregnant at such a young age. It's pretty stupid if you ask me.
Well if you think of it this way, hollywood is the celebrities themselves, and if a celebrity teen is pregnant and the news is all over the pages of a magazine or on the cover, than it could be view as hollywood glamorizing teen pregnancy. Topics like these are hard to put down and ignore. These teen stars are looked upon and view as role models for young girls. They see what they believe in, and if a teen star is pregnant, a lot of young teens might view it as a normal thing for teenagers to experience. If young kids have to learn about pregnancy and what is the right time and age to get pregnant, they they should, reglardless of what the parents believe in, because unless the girls learn about it and the right and wrongs of it, than they will never learn. This is why we see so many young girls being pregnant today. They don't know about things like using protections or waiting until they are old enough or have the money to take care of a baby.
