Is installing a car antenna as easy as screwing it in?

I have a 93 j30 and it has no antenna can I just buy one and screw it in or is it harder than it looks
 
If your J30 already has a place where there is an antenna, then yes, its easy as it looks. If you need to install one, then it's a lil harder cuz u need to drill holes and pass wires then connect to the stereo.
 
well no its not harder than it looks. all you need is to drill a hole where you want the antenna to be, put the base on the backside of the hole, and then screw the antenna in. you will also have to route an antenna wire to the stereo. other than that its easy as pie
