Is islam a race? If not then why is it racist to profile would-be muslim terrorists?

Islam is a religion not race. if we know whats good for us we will profile all of them.
 
Most Muslims are of Middle eastern descent.. Probably, that's why its racist..
 
I Slam is not a race, it is a religion. Gad, man - we are all being profiled as we speak, like every time we go overseas etc, just in case we're drug runners or something, and, besides, no Muslim with nothing to hide would worry about being 'profiled'.

It's not as if a list is being compiled and concentration camps set up to receive them when Der Tag arrives, now, is it? Is it?

The fact that the 'planned attack' only reached the hypothetical 'planning' stage clearly indicates that nobody is 'sitting back' and waiting for an attack - the 'plan' was sprung early due to diligence and hard work by a probably underappreciated and underpaid few.
