Most backwards or least forwards, take your pick; they both mean the same thing. Islamic culture is very primitive in comparison with the rest of the world, right? Sure, you can find isolated jungle tribes that are even more backwards than Islamic culture, but I’m talking about religions and cultures of over a billion people worldwide. Wherever Islam casts a shadow, there you will find barbaric laws, low public education and a distinctly primitive society. It’s almost willfully primitive, right? You know, these savages have the option of being modern and civilized but they reject this in favor of a Middle Ages level of society, right?
 
Seeing as forms of Christianity, especially fundamentalist and evangelical Christianity practied in North America and parts of South America and parts of Africa, is continuing many of the same awful acts fundamentalist Islam does, like killing women who dissent (South Africa, they get accused of being witches, South America same thing happens) persecuting nonbelievers (oh God, must we start on the many cases?) and terrorism (Hello? That disgusting scourge known as the KKK? Not to mention homegrown militias and that Hutaree thing), I'd say it all depends on what sector of each religion you're looking at. Much of Christianity up to 200 years ago looked a lot like some Islam does now...

no is the most criticized and misunderstood religion because is the only religion that does follow God's commandments by the book, and of course Allah is God. People just feel better putting it down because that way they'll excuse all their sins in this world by calling it a "modern" way of living. Oh and I'm not Muslim, but I'm open minded and like to get informed.
 
Are you aware of the Westboro Baptist church? Or for that matter any of the Southern Baptist churches?

They'd have science teaching banned and black people back working in the cotton fields in a minute if we'd let them.
 
You're stereotyping. What you have is based on the media.
A lot of my family are Islamic. And they are intelligent, non-barbaric, and are NOT primitive. What you're saying is pretty racist...

seriously, i dont see anything barbaric or uncivilized about Islam. just because they want to be what they want to be instead of wearing the latest fashion or any crap like that doesn't make them any different. oh and Muslims live happy lives instead of going through peer pressure on fitting in with the rest of the world
