Is it a bit naive when people complain that They took Christ our of Christmas?

Was He ever in it? It bugs me when people complain about Merry Christmas and Christmas trees on the Courthouse lawn. Firstly because it is a national holiday, but secondly (and most importantly) it is not a Christian holiday!!!

Now, true, we are not to judge what days ones call Holy. And I am not. I am simply saying, the Santa Claus we all recognize, was made for Coca Cola. It is mere marketing.

Christ taken out of Xmas? No, He was never in it...
 
Yep, Coca Cola started the image we are all familiar with. In Europe it was Saint Nicholas who brought a tree and oranges for the children.
Christmas day was actually pinched from the Pagan celebration.
