I think this who healthcare thing does need something done.

But it has so far overshadowed the more important problems we have had.

The current bill makes no one happy, left, or right.

It only caters to the insurance industry.

And I believe it has constitution issues as well.

You see, it is NOT like AUTO insurance. You only have to have auto insurance to drive on a public road.

This bill would require you to BUY insurance from PRIVATE insurance companies for just being alive.

Unless it becomes a tax, being paid to a government run healthcare system, I believe this bill will be thrown out as unconstitutional.

In other words .... this whole bill is a total waste of time and money.

Get rid of it and start over!

Who is "he?" Tort reform studies have been done, and proved it Texas to not improve health care, nor do anything to benefit patients, in fact, their health care in Texas is a mess.

What happens is when Tort Reform was adopted in Texas, with a maximum of $250,000.00 medical malpractice awards, tons of doctors who have been sued, lost, and had high medical malpractice insurance premiums because of their poor records flooded into Texas leaving the state with marginal physicians, increasing poor patient care. Good doctors don't wnat them, either.

You are close but the word you may be looking for is: Asinine. The Democrats have made a total joke out of this entire process and then make speeches about how hard they have tried to get along. I'd like them to spend their own money for a change and leave mine alone.

It's a joke that the only reason he decided to listen to Republicans at all is because Scott Brown got elected.

Otherwise Obama would be still ignoring Republicans to this day.

There would have been no Health Summits or anything, if Brown was not elected.

Yet, the funny part is, they are going to do the reconciliation process anyway, so the fake outreach was not really necessary.

Saying we will do a pilot sutdy is saying "I don't want to do it, but if it makes you feel better, I'll look into it."

Which is another way of saying "We don't have the results back yet, and we have no idea when we will have them."

Which is another way of saying "NO"
