Is it bad to listen to your iPod in the rain if it's in your pocket?

Let's say I'm walking down the street, listening to my iPod and it starts to pour down. Would it be bad to continue listening to it?

No, unless the area was very humid. If it is, then moisture could seep into the iPod and it's screen which would be bad. Otherwise, just don't let a lot of water hit the iPod and you'll be fine. Two or three droplets on it won't break it, just wipe it off.
