Is it good practice to put the car in neutral while cruising and/or

waiting at a stop light? @ question. i heard it saves gas but is it good practice do to so? i have a fairly new car, 2007 camry. not sure if that will make a difference. will it damage the car in a long run if i do this?
 
when you put it into nutural it takes load off the engine but i wouldnt do it at every stop light, your just going to wear out parts in your tranny. its a new car so it get good gas milage anyways.
 
No reason at all to do that. Take no advice from whoever told you that one.
