...my personal info, what can i do? Is it illegal to sell cars on the internet?

I am selling cars on the internet to make a little extra pocket money. Times are hard and i need the money. However a local dealer is sending people to collect information about the car and my details.
I presume he wants to report me for some made up offence.
However i see the internet as free and open. What can i do about this car dealer as he is given me so much trouble??
Is there a law against selling cars on the internet?? I see it as just common sense to try and help myself, but this car dealer seems to think he rules the patch. He just doesnt understand that the internet changes the dynamics of the game.

Has anyone any advice on what i can do about this problem?

It's not illegal to sell cars on the Internet, but if you are doing something legal, or if someone believes you are, you may be investigated. The Internet is "free and open", but not free and open to where you can do something illegal!!!

I also buy use cars specially cars that do not run, I fix them up and sell them for a lit more to make extra cash, I am wondering if it would be illegal and what fines could I get??
