Is it moral to take vague Bible prophecies lacking names,specific dates or locations

& claim they came true if? that makes it look like the Bible is true. Remember, the people who would buy the book would be looking for reasons to believe that the Bible was true, so they wouldn't question your claims. You would become a well-liked author in certain circles and you might make a lot of money, although you would tell people the money wasn't important.

That would fall under bearing false witness and taking the name of the Lord in vain, both prohibited by the ten commandments. But we see how seriously they take the other commandments, like the ones about killing or coveting.
