Is it normal for a 3 year old to whine and moan all the time when they do

not get their own way? My 3 year old is the light of my life but sometimes, maybe because she is so proficient in language it can be a battle to get her to do as she is asked..

Is it normal for them to complain/whine/moan when they don't get their own way?

Yes. And it doesn't stop, though as the adult, you need to help her understand that it's okay to be angry/disappointed/whatever, but there are better ways to handle it than whining.

There is a book called Toddler Taming By Dr Christopher Green that I found really helpful.
