Is it normal for a ford fusion awd to vibrate the front/brakes when coming

to a aggressave stop in the snow? Doesn't happen often but it does the car makes a clicking noise and has "a feel" that the front tires are trying to move in reverse while skidding forward. At the same time the brakes have "a feel" that they are no longer power brakes?
 
Its called ABS, Automatic Braking System which helps you stop with out losing your ability to steer your car. my best advice is that when you apply your brakes and the abs stars DO NOT let up on your brakes let the computer figure out what it needs to do. What's actually happening is your brakes are pulsating on and off so you don't slide. Don't worry its ok!
 
Thank god!! That means your ABS is working! They stop your wheels locking up when you jump on your brakes. As it is your brakes and you have concern, you should goto a mechanic/ garage that you trust, and have them check it out and explain to you whats going on.
 
The rotors are warped for starters and you probably need new pads.
 
Does your Fusion have anti-lock brakes? If so, the feeling might be normal. When you brake hard, the anti-lock brakes grab and let go of the rotors rapidly to keep the wheels from locking up. That creates a weird feeling throughout the car, especially at the brake pedal. If your car doesn't have anti-lock brakes, you could have warped/damaged rotors or drums, bad brake shoes, etc. Either way, it would be a good idea to get a brake inspection.
 
brakes and wrap rotors. happened to me and had the front rotors replaced and now its good as new,cheers
