I am a freshmen in college, and I am about 1000 miles away from home. So, naturally, I won't get to see my parents in person unless it's on holiday breaks. But I have started noticing that whenever I call home or whenever I Skype my family, I always end up getting in an argument with my family (i.e. my mother). I feel like this is not normal, seeing as that 1. I'm in college now, and 2. I'm very far away from home. Sometimes it's about major issues but other times it's about little mundane issues that don't matter at all. I'm wondering if it's still normal to be arguing with my parents as if I was still living at home?
