Is it normal for my cat to be this warm?

My cat, Sophie, is about 10 months old. She has been going through some health issues lately but I thought we had them all under control. This morning I noticed something about her that I had never noticed in the last 7 months I have had her. She feels really warm. Like when she is laying on me, I can feel the heat radiating out of her body. I know that cats body temperatures are higher that humans, but I have never noticed the heat difference before. When she gets up from laying on me, I can feel a huge difference in the temperature of my own skin from where she was laying and an area that she wasn't. I mostly feel it in her belly and the underside of her body, but i can also feel it in her forearms and ears. I'm scared she may have an infection. Anyone have any ideas/advise, or an I just being paranoid?
