I can't find my usb stick so was thinking of plugging in my old dvd drive in order to install windows 7.
The thing is I own a micro atx pc and haven't got around to buy a suitable dvd drive.
Can I plug in and use my old dvd drive and leave it on the bottom of my case until i finished installing windows.

can't install it as my case is too small
might place it on top of a book for the meantime thanks
