Is it okay to blast my ipod music through my new Skullcandy Headphones?

sometimes when i'm with friends i like to keep my new lowrider skullcandy headphones around my neck and crank up the volume all the way so everyone can hear it.......i know a lot of people that do this, but is blasting the music all the way gonna damage my headphones?
 
its okay as long as you dont do it all the time i would suggest one of those speakers instead of doing that though

It should be okay once and a while. But if you keep doing it they'll prolly blow out or start to crackle.
