Is it possable to block a certain phone number using telus on a LG8600 chocolate

flip? myfriends mom phones every 10 minutes(no joke)to "check in" on him, and im tired of getting $200+ phone bills, and when i told his mom, she said"Not my problem" and started phoneing every 5 minutes!
 
Unfortunately, no cellular provider can block certain calls. Your options to stop this include changing your number (costs you $10), set your ringtone to silent for his Mom's number so it won't bother you and it will go to voicemail, or have YOUR Mom talk to his about the extra charges you are having to pay because of her constant calling. TELUS may change your number for free if you tell them that you are receiving harrassing calls.

IMO it IS her problem because if she needs to check on him then she should provide him with his own damn phone.
