Is it possible to bridge a car stereo?

So I have an '84 Pontiac Fiero and I'm not looking to go all out and wire up a sound system with an amp, a sub, and all that jazz. What I do want to do is replace the stone-age factory stereo and speakers!

I've just replaced the 2 front factory 4"x10"s (that are about as nice to listen to as a hand held radio) for a decent pair of 300 watt'ers. Now I'm currently in process of wiring up my aftermarket stereo (just a basic 50watts x 4). Thing is, since I ain't gonna go and run my new speakers through an amp and get the most out of them, I need to know... Is it possible to bridge the stereo itself to just run two 4"x10"s?

Just incase you were wondering: I only want to use the two 4"x10"s at the front, because the rear speakers located inside the headrests of both seats are blown and too much work to get to.

Many thanks in advance for your input!

no its not and you kinda just spent alot of money on a new system that isnt gonna be any louder just cause the box the head came in says 50x4 its not if you noticed wile shopping every box said 50w x4 you might not believe me but the output of the new head is prolly about the same as the one you replaced the whole reason people get new heads is to install and amp and subs but the answer to your question is no

good luck man
