Is it possible to get FREE gps on the w760 walkman phone?

I know phones can navigate themselves through towers, but the preloaded at&t software costs money. Is there anyway to get some preloaded maps onto my phone from my home's internet connection and then use those as the gps on my phone without paying money for some random monthly services or data usage?

i got a similar sony ericsson. i got a internet flatrate for like 5eur a month and have google maps on it. it works amazingly well.
