Is it possible to get gamesound in a headset on PS3 without using Bluetooth?

I have a USB head set, but when I use it I can only hear the online chat, and not the actual game sound. So I wonderd if there was a way to get gamesound throu a headset (on the PS3) without using Bluetooth?
 
yes , here are both wired and wireless headsets that give the game and chat sounds , either wired headsets from turtle beach or tritton that run from $89 to $299 or a wireless Sony stereo headset ( 7.1 surround that costs $99
look in any bestbuy or gamestop for them

you cannot and never could hear game sounds with a bluetooth ps3 headset , they are not capable of that
 
You have to buy a headset that is designed for that purpose. I believe Sony finally released theirs not too long ago.
