I have 97' punto and I was wondering is it possible to get power steering installed in it . I was driving 06' Fiesta so its hard getting used to a car with no power steering . Also rough prices would be nice 2 . thank you .
i would say yes, i looked it up a lil.. you can install an adopted Dualdrive electric power steering and comes with two operation modes, using an electric motor, rather than a hydraulic pump driven by the engine, u can use hydraulic pump, but it will lower the horse power a tiny bit, and give a lil less gas miloage, but it would be nice to have the power steering, i have it in my 22 yr old truck, surprised your car doesnt, hope this helped, but before buying anything, ask a mechanic, or evan better just call a parts store and say you want to prive out a power steering unit, motor or hydraulic and list the make of your vehicle. that could tell you aswell
