Is it possible to pick up a child by his/her arms and cause them to have a condition

that makes them musty? This old lady told this kid not to pick up a baby by its arms in Walmart cuase he would be musty for life. I wanted to know if the old lady was crazy as hell or if she knew what she was talking about.

She's crazy. The only thing that would make someone smell bad for life would be having bad hygiene.
