Is it possible to open up the xbox 360 and remove the dvd drive by unplugging the sata cable, and plugging a sata hard drive in instead?
i know the dvd drive has a certain key or code that it needs to work, but if you flashed the HD with dvd drivers/firmware, would that fool the xbox into thinking the hard drive is a dvd drive, and let you play backed up games from the hard drive?
my question probably has so many things wrong with it, but i cant find any other similar answers online and it seems odd enough to work somehow, with of course the risk of breaking the xbox.
