is it still common to see SUV's & large pick up trucks in the USA driving

around with a American flag stickers? when, why this became so common and how about the yellow ribbon stickers..saying "Support our troops"? when, why has declined in popularity and WHERE MOST POPULAR PROBABLY AND WHY?

what do many think of these? and why?

if they truly loved the USA they would drive fuel efficient cars and demand that our troops be brought home from pointless wars that bankrupt us
