As I have said many times, the whole celeb thing is a facade. They all wear make up, especially on camera. You want to avoid being see doing things like "glistening".
As for looking ugly and trying to cover it up, I worked with a lot of famous people, and with out being made up, they look just as bad or worse than you or I! They are just humans after all, even though the public tends to worship them.
a lot of them do (especially disney men) but i think it a bit weird- cos normal men dont wear makeup (unless its fancy dress or they are a transvestite)
