Not me by the way, Im having a discussion with a family member, So this question is really out of curiosity. My older cousin says she doesnt really believe in God but she still likes to hear the stories told from the bible and talk about them sometimes. Does this mean shes in denial or what? Can I get an honest oppinion?

>Any time there is an interest, there is a door open, however small the opening. Do not judge what you do not really know, because she does not know what she believes or does not believe in.

I like watching a good vampire movie but does that mean I'm a vampire believer in denial?

Noooooo.

Not weird, I like to know about religions and their sacred books, unlike most religious people that claim to be religious, I think is not weird, I havent really read all the Bible, the Koran or the Asvesta, but I find them interesting, if that makes me a hypocrite then I am a hypocrite. So no, in my opinion is not weird at all.

that's great but the bible itself shows that someone who doesn't believe in God is in denial

since faith comes by the word of God, she will probably develop faith in God

they're just weird stories .. give you a bit of a laugh at their childish lack of logic

There is nothing weird about that. the stories in the bible are fascinating to read regardless if you take them as true or not.

Nope.avi
Its like studying any other form of mythology. Each story has a deep meaning that can be of interest to anyone.
