Originally I thought Krav Maga is like MMA (Muay Thai with Jiujitsu).

However, these videos of Krav Maga seem to resemble kempo karate or kung-fu san soo and even other elements of traditional karate.

I understand that everyone has a different preference in training. Krav Maga seem to have a lot of compliant or choreographed partner training where the opponent will attack and the strike is blocked and the opponent just freezes in place and allows the other person to land multiple strikes on them.

Is you like this training then that's fine, but I only prefer live sparring with a fully resisting opponent.

Lol not sure that first vid was actually krav maga. I only watched a little and as far as i know they don't wear the gi (the uniform they are wearing in the vid). Although Kempo and Krav are quite different its pretty much a universal thing that you practice against a compliant opponent in order to get the techniques downpacked. Than you practice with a resisting opponent later.

Ok I actually do Krav Mga and my instructor is head of australia for Krav Maga i have a feeling this is a different system. Krav Maga is not similar to Kempo Karate and it isnt a sport like MMA. The reason they are compliant because in real life once you've punched them in the throat, kneed them in the groin and hammer striked to the back of the head repeatedly, they will be.

EDIT-Different system as in same self defence with slight variations developed over a long period of time in a different way
