They performed the test recently and again more than ten years ago. what they found is that, perhaps due to the heightened communication age we live in now, there is no difference between what is said and the speaker. they can easily doubt any fact or accept any opinion as fact that they want because there is too much information of either side to deal with. the experiment had people read information about things they thought they knew about but didn't fully. ten years ago, a percentage of them actually changed their minds, others considered the information. now, very few even consider the information, instead they get all jacked up on honor and ego.
