Hello,

We are landing in London on 25th, Christmas day, for a week long holiday. Apart from the cancellation of Tube and other transport services, what is worrying us now is the weather. Is the weather likely to improve later in the week? How is the weather expected to behave till the end of the year? We also have plans to visit Kent and Bath-Stonehenge during our stay. We might have to cancel our holiday plan and I fear it is a little too late for it. Please suggest.Thank you.

I think the bad weather has passed. Looking out the window, it's dry, the sky is clear and it looks as though the sun may even be shining later. The snow was unusual for this time of year. A cold front from Siberia they say.. You'll be fine I think.

The UK weather is notoriously unpredictable and so there is no way of answering this question.

Best thing to do is to keep an eye on the weather.

www.bbc.co.uk/weather for 24 hour forecasts.

Assuming you're hiring a hire car from the airport to enable you to travel it should be fine to drive as the main roads are usually cleared fairly quickly. I suggest you buy anything you need for Christmas day at the airport itself as there will not be any other shops open in London that day.
