I have a 1991 Acura Legend Coupe, that i bought from a used car dealership back in march with only 116,000 miles now it has 128,000 miles original miles too, and i did all the fluid changes on it except the automatic tranny fluid. It rides pretty smooth but occasionally jerks when shifting into gears if i push on the gas, and it you can hear it jerk when going from park to reverse when i am completely stopped doing the normal back up. I don't know when the tranny fluid have been changed last and i am thinking of getting a tranny fluid flush and put the supper good stuff in it that i heard is good for 100,000 miles compared to only 30,000 on the cheap stuff, i just hope the tranny isn't shot to hell yet cause i understand a new tranny is like at least 3000.00 or more and is alot of work. I got a quote at brake masters for a tranny flush on my car and its like freaking 109.00 plus tax!!!! WTF i wonder if i can find a cheaper place that can do a good job but i am probably wrong, i am not a mechanic all i know is how the basics of how a car works and how to turn key put it in drive and go. But i try to keep up on the maintenance best i can so my car wont break down, its just that sometimes i don't have enough money to do that like i don't really have 120 bucks to throw away just like that, but if it needs to be done i will make sacrifices. Anyways hit me up and let me know whats the best thing i should do for my cars auto tranny?
