I have been learning to drive with the AA school.
The instructor assigned to me - i was not very impressed, he started by insisting on lesson times that were suitable for him. As i work fulll time, it was very hard to adjust. So after we ironed out and I accepted I am going to learn to drive at his times, we made progress. Its been 3 months, and he made me book my test in November. Lately he has been coming later to pick me up, and says he will make the time up later. So far he owes me 20min from 2-3 lessons.
Yesterday was the worst, he kept being irritated with me, and almost controlling himself from yelling at me. He did look tired and has a cold, so perhaps he is over worked.
I wanted to get your opinions, what is considered good or bad. I wasnt making big mistakes, but he was over the top. I was in tears the whole 2 hours yesterday, and was upset for the rest of the evening.
The lesson before as well, I slowed down for the junction ahead, he irritatedly told me to put my foot down, so i did...only for him to slam the brakes and having a go at me for not stopping at the junction.
I have 4 weeks, left, should I just stick it out, or shall i change to another instructor?
