Is racial Humor ever really that funny?

Now listen people I am not a racist I love people of all shapes color and religions how ever I must ask your for opinions on subject!!! Now I watched the Chappelle show almost religiously wile it was on TV and I laughed my ass off when he made fun of white people, and guess what? I am a white guy from central united states. I laugh at all kinds of stuff. However my question is do other people really find racial comedy to be all that amusing? I do know a lot of african American veiwers who become extremly upset at the thought of a causcasion comedian using racial slurs in there acts. So my question is this Racial Humor appropriet or not ?
 
Well some racial slurs are funny as hell haha. because some of em are true! :D
 
Yes it is often hilarious. Joking about others is one thing, being really serious and bigotted is entirely different and THAT is racism. PC often has got completely out of hand. I am Scottish, comedians calls us Jocks say that we are mean etc. The Irish in UK anyway are the brunt of most jokes and called Paddy's, Americans called Yanks and on it goes. We don't think of this as racist but there is a time and place for everything. One thing mind you I would say is - If you can't take it don't give it!

Yes it's funny, unless your threatening to kill someone or burn their house down etc because they are a different race then that is obviously racist BUT the cry of racist these days is often a means to an end (I can't get what I want so I'll scream racist).
