I honestly don't care what people think, but I told some friends (black and white) that I'm going hiking in the mountains and they both said how black people don't go hiking. How are you going to put limitations on your life? Sounds like ignorance to me.

(I'm black and military by the way)

Since you're obviously trained with a firearm--don't leave that in your vehicle. Take a GPS too. Be smart. Color doesn't matter. Enjoy yourself and be safe. Tell your friends you're taking your new blonde girlfriend! BOO YAH!

And that's why you keep doing what you want
Ignorance, stereotyping ect. yeah pretty much ...

Yes, same thing with swimming in a swimming pool. It sucks - the stereotyping.

Not even a little. I don't find anything weird about it at all... Is hiking a segregated activity now? I didn't think so. So no. It's not weird.

You don't see black people snowboarding that often either, but it's not strange if a black person wants to go snowboarding. I wouldn't think it's that strange to want to go hiking.

how is that even remotely weird? i seen a black guy working at a Chinese restaurant and i didn't even think that was weird...

No, it's not weird. You are right; to say so IS ignorance...
