I've been dating this girl for two months, we have been taking it slowly. Our dates would have been dinner,dvds and she'd come out with me and my friends two (she's friends with some of them anyway). Well on Halloween she brought up the fact she didn't think i felt a spark and that she did in the beginning but is not so sure anymore. I met up with her on the Tuesday to have a real chat as we were both a bit drunk to have the talk on Halloween. The talk went well and we left the bar still dating each other, what i took from it was that she had a concern that it didn't feel the same as when her and her last boyfriend started dating (which was 5 yrs ago, i'm the first guy she really seen since they split a yr ago).....i'm of the opinion that a relationship grows and is not instant (but i am will to accept that i could be wrong). Anyway last Thurs she asked if i wanted to go to dinner the next night (first time she had asked me to do something, it has always been the other way around). The date went really well to the point i thought it was our best date so far as we were very close all night. I stayed in hers that night, before i did she said she had to be up early for hair appointment the next day so asked me to set the alarm for 10am. We haven't had sex yet as she believes it has to mean something (i'm fine with that all be it a little frustrated) i did try and take it up a notch though..nothing that i didn't think was on the cards. Anyway the next morning we woke about 7 because she has shit curtains anyway within that hour she had started to give me looks that ok you need to got now, I was gone by 8, i want to know why she pushed me out then and not after 10 when we set the alarm for. I have stayed over before and left early each time as i got the feeling she was uncomfortable with me there. Well since then (saturday morning) there haven't been many txts, and all have kinda blunt from her. I emailed her yesterday with some links she'd be interested in, as they are in relation to help disadvantaged teenagers get in to college (she is part of a program that is kind of like a big sister program) her Response was
"Thanks John!! Really good of you - i won't get a chance to check them out til this wknd - too much to do here
Chat to you then!"
I just felt that was very stand offish for us having dated for two months and that was an email you'd send to a friend, and i suppose i thought she would have txt instead. Now she's very busy on a job in a different county this week, so we can't see each other.
I want to know did i just coat over a problem with our talk a week ago and is she drifting or am i just being paranoid because when we are together its good
