is the 1992 lincoln town car engine the same as the 1996 mustang engine?

i want to mod a 1992 lincoln town car but i want to know if it has the same engine as the 1996 mustang 4.6 and up the 1992 lincoln town car has a 4.6 leater i just need to know if ford used this engine in the mustangs
