is the birth control Gianvi good for acne?

Gianvi's is the generic for YAZ Birth Control, i'm on the last day of the second week, my doctor prescribed it to me for my acne problems and when i first started taking it i was throwing up for like the whole first week now on my second week i been braking out super bad ): more then i usually would. should i get off it and start something else or should i just wait a month and see what happens? i been looking at others peoples comments about it and some of them say that they broke out a lot when they first got on it then after awhile it clears up and they don't get acne at all anymore, i have no idea what do do HELP!?

My daughter was taking yaz then when generic(gianvi) came out insurance automatically switched her. She broke out so bad. Big cyst like things all over her face. I got her switched back and her skin is amazing now.

I was taking Yaz for a looong time (years) and never had any major acne problems. I would occasionally have a small pimple but they were few and far between. Earlier this summer I switched to the generic version and started getting huge, painful nodules on my chin every month around ovulation. I didn't put two and two together until I found out that Yaz is a contraception that DOES help with acne, vs Gianvi which is only a contraception. I'm going to be switching back to Yaz!
