Is the Blackberry Curve 8330 (from Sprint) a good phone?

I basically just want to be able to text with ease, take good pics and vids, and watch SprintTV with good quality. I currently have an ic902, which is HORRIBLE for all of those things -- it shuts off randomly like 5 or 6 times a day.

Is the model listed above (the blackberry curve 8330), good for the aforementioned things?
