is the brushstokes dvd set breaking the law?

i've just bought the dvd brushstrokes series 1+2 box set the menu states that series 1 was 6 episodes and series 2 was 7 making 13 episodes. the episode guides online say that series one was 13 episodes and and series 2 was 7 episodes so is this a case of false advertising as i feel ripped off.

Not really.Was the DVD advertised accurately? I just read an online advertisement for the DVD which says "all 13 episodes of series 1 and 2".

Was the online episode guide an advertisement either by the BBC or by the supplier? The BBC say there were 40 episodes of this sitcom, over 5 series, though the number of episodes per series was not even.

Does the DVD box itself claim to have the episodes you don't have?

Could the DVD be double sided?
