Is the droid by motorola for verizon a decent phone and why/ why not? 10 points?

The origional droid. Im getting tommorow, but is this a good phone? I text alot more thani call people so is it like easy to text on it or get used to texting on it? I have had a new phone in quite a while. My current phone is a verizon Palm treo xw and i got it new.. So yeah.. I cant deal with that phone anymore. Thanks.
