season i expect them to compete? and win more than 85 games with good pitching and offensive

I expect them to win more games than last year especailly since the giants finally got a reliable 5th starter in Randy Johnson. Im a giants fan and the only way I see them winning the division is if thye get 2 big bats to improve there offense. They have to trade Randy Winn, Dave Roberts, or Aaron Rowand to free up room for Ramirez, but its very unlikely. I think they will trade Johnathan Sanchez for a corner infielder who is a power bat.

Look for them to be signing Joe Crede in the next couple of days. They don't want Manny anymore.

They are in good position with the starting pitching, and bullpen. They passed on Manny already. I see them trading Rowand, for a passable hitting outfielder and working on getting a contract done for Adam Dunn. In general I see them and the Dodgers as the only major contenders for the NL West. Where Manny ends up could be a huge decider.
