...prophecy fulfilled? Dan 12:4 '....many shall run to and fro (the 'rat race'?) and knowledge shall be increased'
this was written by Daniel during 'the captivity of judea' - ca 560 B.C.

None of the 19 centuries preceding the 20th had electricity, refrigeration, etc.

it's just a question -

Why not use the scientific knowledge from the 20th Century to convince yourself that no one ever prophesied anything. There is no such thing.

So, I guess the invention of the printing press, steam power, Galileo's theories, Newton's writings on gravity, Thomas Edison's invention of the light bulb, and the Industrial Age were just examples of humanity NOT gathering knowledge prior to the 20th century, right?

Nice try. But no. You can fit a prophecy to make it say what you want.

To "run to and fro" is to apostatize, and "knowledge" is calamities, or wickedness.

Prophecies are bullshiit, they are always vague enough to mean anything and they are only brought up after the fact.

Knowledge always increases. If that's a prophesy, it's as trivial and obvious as you can make it. "In the future, superstitious people are going to say stupid crap." There's I'm a prophet too.

There were a lot more than 19 centuries preceding the 20th. And they had refrigeration in prehistoric times. Have you never heard of an ice house or ice pit?
