Is The Jeep Wrangler '03 TJ Soft Top Frame same as/ or will fit '97 TJ?

Please Help..bout to make purchase...Factory type of course....Will a Soft top Frame from a 2003 TJ fit a 1997 TJ??? I thought yes at first for sure but have heard it may not cuz the 2003 lil different...Not SUre...All Knowledgeable Jeep'sters please help (or if you happen to know and are a Hummer guy lol) THank You!!

I am making a swap right now actually.
I took the frame and top off my 2003 and installed it on my Daughters 1997. It fits fine, but it seems slightly looser than when it was on my 03.
Not sure if it is because it is stretched a little. but I am staying with it. I think it is a proper fit, just slightly loose due to stretching.
I think it will tighten up..
